Get Fit 2014
Today I want to start by saying that Star Spangled CrossFit has some of the most amazing members! Everyone is so dedicated to living better and being better that it is inspiring everyday! Want to give a HUGE shout out to our very own Caitlyn Graves! Not only does she bust her butt at SSCF but she is devoted to her family and friends....and did I mention she made the PRESIDENTS list her first semester in college with a 4.0!!! Way to go Cait!!
Tip: Buy locally, if you have an opportunity to buy from a local farm or farmers market, do it!! If that is not an option try to buy from a wholefoods store or organic at your local grocery store when possible. There are so many chemicals and pesticides used to "preserve" our foods. Food is not meant to have a shelf life of 6 months -a year. Food for thought;)
Challenge: For one week give up any processed foods, no frozen meals, deli meat, pre-packaged anything. Try eating organic meat, fruits and vegetables. I promise you will feel great!
Original recipe makes 6 servings
- 1 (2 pound) pork tenderloin
- 1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1 cup water
- 3/4 cup red wine
