Get Fit 2014

Every year on January 1 people make the decision to "lose weight" or "get in shape".....the reason it happens every January 1 is because usually by January 15th those "goals" have been pushed aside. It is overwhelming to begin the journey of living a healthy lifestyle. There are so many components that come into play...exercise, healthy eating, proper supplementation, hydration, family support, but most of all building the confidence in yourself to realize you and your body deserve better and are capable of more than you give yourself credit for. There will be days you "fall of the wagon", days you don't want to go to the gym, days you want a damn cheeseburger, fries and a milk shake!! Moderation is key, treat yourself to the burger and fries, but get your butt to the gym and know that your next meal will probably be a salad with a lean protein. Life is all about checks and balances, your diet and exercise should be no different. So, now to the point of the blog.....starting January 1 there will be helpful tips, recipes, and words of encouragement to make 2014 the last year of a fitness resolution!! By this time next year treating your body well will be the way you live your life:)
